Summer maintenance guide for rotomolding machines electrical cabinets

2026-09-03

Only qualified personnel are authorized to operate, inspect, or maintain the electrical cabinet. Unauthorized personnel are strictly prohibited.
After power disconnection, the cabinet must be verified de-energized, locked out, and tagged out before any work begins. This prevents accidental re-energization.
After the equipment is powered off, wait until all indicator lights and display screens on electrical components have completely turned off before performing any operations. This eliminates the risk of electric shock from residual voltage.
Energized work is not permitted unless absolutely necessary. When energized work must be performed, a dedicated supervisor must be present at all times.

Rotomolding Class | Episode 5: Cooling Process Determines Product Performance! Breaking Down the Core Technologies and Practical Essentials of the Cooling Stage

2026-08-25

In the rotomolding process chain, the heating and sintering stage is often regarded as the technical centerpiece — powder melting, bubble elimination, and melt homogenization, with every step critical to molding success. However, the value of the cooling stage has long been underestimated. Most factories reduce it to a passive waiting game of "let it cool down." Operators decide when to open the mould by feel alone, and air-cooling and water-cooling switches are run full-tilt based purely on experience. This rough-and-ready approach masks an important fact: the cooling process has a far greater impact on the final performance of the product than most people realize — affecting the part’s rigidity and toughness, dimensional stability, degree of warpage, and even service life.
